We will miss you, Grandpa Guss!

I was so sad when my Grandpa Guss Black passed away on June 9 - a month after his 93rd Birthday. Grandpa was such a funny jokester, and we all loved having him around. He was always at my mom and dad's for dinner each Sunday, and life just won't be the same without him telling jokes at the dinner table, getting the bag of jelly beans out for the great-grandkids, or showing us a new colt or horse. We will sure miss you, Grandpa!

This is my Grandpa and Grandma Black after they were first married.
This is how I remember them the best - shortly before my Grandma passed away.
I love this picture of Grandpa with us on our wedding day!
Grandpa's favorite place - with his horses!
I am glad that I was able to get lots of pictures of Grandpa with Lydia! We love you and will miss you so much, Grandpa Guss!

Memorial Day in St. George & Zions

We had a blast down in Zion National Park and St. George over Memorial Day weekend with our friends, Rex & Emily and their little girl, Maleah!
Rex and Brent got to tote the girls!
The scenery was beautiful!

How many people does it take to get a baby in a back pack carrier?

Lydia wanted to point out her signature that she painstakingly carved into the rock... ha ha!

No, Brent is not waiting for lemondrops to fall from the sky... he just couldn't stop yawning!
