I was so sad when my Grandpa Guss Black passed away on June 9 - a month after his 93rd Birthday. Grandpa was such a funny jokester, and we all loved having him around. He was always at my mom and dad's for dinner each Sunday, and life just won't be the same without him telling jokes at the dinner table, getting the bag of jelly beans out for the great-grandkids, or showing us a new colt or horse. We will sure miss you, Grandpa!
This is my Grandpa and Grandma Black after they were first married.
This is how I remember them the best - shortly before my Grandma passed away.
I love this picture of Grandpa with us on our wedding day!
We love you and will miss you so much, Grandpa Guss!

Sorry- I had to delete my comment- I misspelled a couple of words and it drove me crazy! Anyway- I had no idea that you were related to Allison (Black) Johnson. She's a good friend of mine! What a small world! I've heard such great things- from people all over- about your grandpa! I bet he was glad to be with your grandma again! :)
I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa. I have fond memories of "Grandpa Black" in Salem 1st ward, he always had jellybeans for the kids and was such a kind person.
