Time to Baby Proof!
Watch out everyone! Our little monkey is on the move!
Lydia has been scooting around a bit for the past couple months - going around in circles or backwards.
Today I sat Lydia down to play with her toys for a minute while I got on the computer (across the room).
I heard a noise behind me and looked to see her army crawling over to me!
So, of course I ran and got my camera to catch the moment!
I still am wondering why today of all times? What was the motivation?
Did it suddenly click in her mind that she could actually go where she wanted to?
I guess it will remain a mystery. And now I have to baby proof the house!

Maleah's 1st Birthday!
Yes, another cake! This one was for my friend Emily's daughter, Maleah.
Maleah really likes her book, "That's not my Princess", so Emily wanted a princess cake. I took the easy way out (I didn't want to do any more faces!) and did what my sister suggested - a barbie doll cake!
I am glad the dress was so fun to decorate!
Maleah thought she was a real doll - it was so cute when she just sat and held her hands! She finally ate some after a little coaxing!
Yum!I just had to put this funny video of Lydia on! We were at Maleah's birthday party eating pizza, and Brent gave Lydia his crust to chew on. Then when he tried to take it away, this is what she did! Sooooo funny!

Rick's College Reunion!
It was so fun to get together with my roommates from Rick's College this weekend! We were roommates in the 98-99 school year, and had such a blast together! I think it says a lot that we all still keep in touch and are still friends!
We were so excited that Dave and Jeff came! Our true Rick's buddies! They were the source of lots of good times, good laughs, and great memories at Rick's, and we were happy to find that their humor hasn't changed much! Although, I didn't once hear anyone say "trout"...disappointing! :)
Lydia had lots of fun hanging out!
Katherine's Timothy, and Melissa's Nathan enjoyed it, too!
Katherine and Timothy came all the way to Utah at the perfect time for our Reunion! We are so glad they could come - it was so fun to see them both again!

Yes, I REALLY like to eat!
First time giving Lydia a Zwieback Toast - she downed it in about 5 minutes! What a mess!
Lydia loves eating apples, bananas, and cantaloupe in her feeder!
