1. DID YOU DATE SOMEONE FROM YOUR HIGH SCHOOL? No one seriously! I dated a few people a couple of times but hung out with a group most of the time. Who knew I would end up marrying someone from High School? And someone who did NOT know I even EXISTED while we were in high school. That's probably the only reason he married me! (Refer to question #7)!
2.WHAT KIND OF CAR DID YOU DRIVE? A red minivan when I wasn't riding the bus!
3. DID YOU PASS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST YOUR FIRST TRY? Yup
4. WERE YOU A PARTY ANIMAL? Nope - (refer to question #7)
5. WERE YOU CONSIDERED A FLIRT? I don't think so - I was too afraid to talk to guys!
6. WERE YOU IN BAND, ORCHESTRA, OR CHOIR? No - I was the Yearbook nerd instead.
7. WERE YOU A NERD? Oh, YES! At least I had a group of nerd friends. (Emily admitted it, so I can put it here!) We had fun, too!
8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMs? Nope
9. DID YOU EVER GET SUSPENDED/EXPELLED? No, refer back to question #7
10. CAN YOU STILL SING THE FIGHT SONG? Did we have a fight song?
11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS? Mdm. Nielson (French teacher), Mrs. Hansen (Sewing Teacher) most of my seminary teachers . . .
12. WHERE DID YOU SIT FOR LUNCH? Usually in the hallway near our lockers [where else can you play mini-ping-pong, slap hands and card games (refer back to questions # 7)]
AND WE HAD FUN DOING IT! Sometimes we went to Wendy's, where we collected Kids Meal Toys!
13. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S FULL NAME? I'm not telling you... we're online you know.
14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS? Red, gray and white
15. DID YOU GO TO HOMECOMING AND WITH WHO? Yes - as a junior I went with Heath Dalton - my very first date! I think we had fun... Then, as a senior, I was helping set up for the dance (none of us had dates).
16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU? Never! I would go back to Rick's College in a heartbeat, though!
17. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER MOST ABOUT GRADUATION? I remember it being such a big deal, where now it doesn't seem as big. My Mom and Dad came and we went out to eat after. Emily and I went to the senior party and I got thrown in the pool.
18. WHERE DID YOU GO SENIOR SKIP DAY? Lagoon, of course!
19. WERE YOU IN ANY CLUBS? Yearbook wasn't a club, but I was in it all 3 years. Also NHS, FHA, Thoreau Society, Science Club, - those are all I can remember.
20. HAVE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT SINCE THEN? Yes, but after my baby I lost it all!
21. WHO WAS YOUR PROM DATE? Junior year - Daniel Wright. We went to Magleby's, which was fun! Senior Prom - I went with Adam Glenn to our Prom. We ate at the restuarant that is called Chef's Table now (I don't remember what the name was then) and got to sit out on the patio with the heat lights on. It was a pretty place. The dance was fun! I also went to another school's prom. We went up to SlC and ate at the Roof Restuarant at the Joseph Smith Memorial Bldg. I remember we had to hurry because they had a limo rented to drive us back down to the dance. And I tried Swordfish! The dance was fun & we went on the carriage ride they had, which was fun!
22. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR 10 YEAR REUNION? Missed it - I had my baby the day before!
23. DID YOU HAVE A JOB IN HIGH SCHOOL? Yep, Burger Barn/Jerry's Dairy! You couldn't claim residency in our little town without working there. I still remember their ice cream - nothing like it, nowadays! It was fun to work with Emily there!

Happy Halloween!

When I was trying to figure out what costume to dress Lydia in for Halloween, I asked Brent. He immediately said "a monkey"! I knew that it was perfect, because I have always called her my little monkey - even when she was in my belly! I found this cute costume online at Old Navy and LOVED the banana in the pocket! When it arrived, I tried it on Lydia and she looked so funny toddling around - just like a monkey! It was hanging in her closet for weeks, and several times when I went in to get Lydia from her nap, she would point to her monkey costume and laugh. I would say "Is that your monkey costume?" and she would nod and say "yah"! So funny! She kept wanting to get it down and play with it. And she already could tell us what a monkey said, which I should have gotten on video- my new goal!

Anyway, I was afraid she would hate wearing the thing, but she totally loved it and played the part well! Of coarse, cuz she is totally a monkey! She totally loved trick-or-treating, and just wanted to hold each thing she got, instead of putting it in her bucket. Then she tried eating the candy through the wrapper. Finally she was just content to carry the bucket all by herself. When I tried to help her, she would wave my hand away - little miss independent!

So, I wanted to dress up as something that went along with her costume, and when I saw this sign I found at Macey's, I knew what I could be! It says "I have flying monkeys - don't make me use them!" Perfect, huh?

Harris Hillbillie Halloween Hoe-down!

All red-necks, hillbillies and country folk of the family were invited to our annual Harris Halloween Party! Mom, Kristen, Amber and I had a blast planning this year's party. And everyone dressed up for the occasion - above and beyond what we expected! My favorite was Mom and Dad's costumes, and Ryan and Karlie & their kids! We had our party out in the barn behind Amber & Jeff's house, which was perfect!Ryan is a hillbilly at heart!

I don't know what it is about coming up with gross names for our Halloween dinners, but I think it is one of my favorite things to do! I got lot's of help online from roadkill cafe menus!

Yummm!Every year we have our dinner games that we play while we eat. One is our name tag game - we are all assigned names and can't call each other by our regular names. If you do, you have to give up one of your game pieces (this year was candy corn). The person with the most at the end of dinner wins!
