Harris Hillbillie Halloween Hoe-down!

All red-necks, hillbillies and country folk of the family were invited to our annual Harris Halloween Party! Mom, Kristen, Amber and I had a blast planning this year's party. And everyone dressed up for the occasion - above and beyond what we expected! My favorite was Mom and Dad's costumes, and Ryan and Karlie & their kids! We had our party out in the barn behind Amber & Jeff's house, which was perfect!Ryan is a hillbilly at heart!
Karlie made a great hillbilly, too!
Little homeless Hallie - and it was so cold, too!
Our little Lydia!
I just loved Brent's mullet!
Brayden and Porter
Hannah in her camo!
Mom and Dad - the ultimate hillbillies!
You go, mom!
Jordan, Addi, Porter & Angie
The redneck crew...
and the hillbilly girls, too!
I don't know what it is about coming up with gross names for our Halloween dinners, but I think it is one of my favorite things to do! I got lot's of help online from roadkill cafe menus!
Ryan's personal stuffed armadillo from his mission in Texas!
Mom made these awesome fat rats on a stick! I had to get the before and after pictures:
Yummm!Every year we have our dinner games that we play while we eat. One is our name tag game - we are all assigned names and can't call each other by our regular names. If you do, you have to give up one of your game pieces (this year was candy corn). The person with the most at the end of dinner wins!
Jeff and Amber (aka Billy Ray and Daisy Mae) Stuffin' our redneck faces!Lindy and Lydia
Ryan played it up all night long!
Celebrating Jordan's birthday.
Our pie eating contest - Ryan plays dirty!

The best for last: our homemade hillbilly band! My mom wanted to play funny music and let the kids play along, but it ended up mostly us just laughing at Ryan and his antics! And it was so loud it hurt our ears! Play at your own risk!
