Well, it has been forever since I have posted last, and here is one of the reasons why:
The hole for our house was dug the middle of June!
It was neat to see the process of building a house. I can't believe how much is involved - and I didn't even see half of it!
The foundation and framing went really quickly!
We had fun coming up to the house every evening to see what they had done!
The roof and windows quickly followed!
Right now they are working on the stone and stucco, and they just finished up the sheetrock and are now doing the texture on the walls!
These are our amazing views out the back and front windows!
Overall it has really been a stressful experience - I don't know if I would ever want to build again. I can't believe all of the decisions we have had to make - and I am such an indecisive person! I can't wait to see it all done and to be able to move in! We are hoping they will be finished mid-October.

Shut up!!!! We are going to be neighbors! My husband and I are going to build across the street! We actually kinda broke into your house the other day (when we were at my inlaws who also live in the field across the street in the big field) because we thought it looked very very similar to what we are planning on building. Please don't press charges. I love it. Maybe someday soon we will get our rear in gear and get ours going.

It looks SO nice already! Congrats!! The kids are so darling too-keep taking those naps instead of blogging. Makes me feel better since I do that too (I don't even have a new baby- what's my excuse?). BTW, funny story...I was in Gymboree the other day and I was signing up to get a reminder call for my Gym Bucks and guess who was the only other name on the list... Yours! Isn't that random. I laughed and told the girl you were my friend. :)
