Hey Everyone! We are so excited to announce that Baby Wall is here!
No, we don't have a name chosen yet but we will let you know what it is when we do! Lindy started having contractions at 10:30 Monday night and we were trying to figure out if we should go to the hospital or not (for fear of being sent home - Lindy wasn't due until July 3). We decided to go, and by the time Lindy's dad came over and we drove all the way to the hospital, it was about 1:30 a.m. and Lindy was at an 8! Then after a wonderful epidural (wonderful for EVERYONE!) the doctor checked to find out that the baby was laying sideways and would not be coming without a C-Section! So in we went and Baby Boy Wall was yanked out at 2:34 a.m. Tuesday, June 2! He was in NICU for a day while they monitored his lungs and blood sugar, but got to come down to the regular nursery Wednesday morning. Mom is doing great (as long as she is medicated!) and we are excited to bring our baby home - hopefully he will have a name by then!
What a chubber - 4 weeks early and the biggest boy in the NICU!He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long!
What is funny is that he looks just like Lydia when she was born -tons of curly hair and big chubby cheeks!

Mommy can't wait to lose all the water weight - yay for hot weather.
Lydia just loves "baby brother" and had fun holding and kissing him!
She even wanted to share her cookies and milk with him!
Daddy is loving his little guy!

He is beautiful!!! Congratulations, sorry we didn't get to visit you in the hospital. We will come see you as soon as we get home Sunday. You couldn't even wait for my birthday, yeesh! Good to have him here and safe and perfect. You two do good work!

Before I read what you wrote, I thought "wow, he looks JUST like Lydia did!" He is so cute. Congratulations. I'm glad you are both healthy.

I was just wondering when your baby was due and thought I should check the blog and this is what I found! Congrats! He is so beautiful- I can't get over those huge cheeks and all that hair! I love the name Nathan too- so cute. Good thing you had him so early- who on earth has an 8 pound baby a month early?! I hope you're feeling well and surviving alright. Congrats again!!
