What is wrong with this picture?

Lydia is sooo smart (and very sneaky already)! She is always pulling her flowers off her headband. I had put her in her carseat to get ready to leave, and then was getting other things together. I looked over and saw her pulling on her flower, and said "uh oh!", then continued to get ready. I looked over again and laughed when I saw the flower right where it should be - but upside down! Smart little girl!

Oh, and we love to ask her what a Tiger says!

Kirtsy

Ok, so I found another cool new site that I have to put a plug in for - it is called http://www.kirtsy.com/ (it used to be "sk*rt" but has just changed names). I found it off of another awesome site, called http://www.designmom.com/ (The woman that owns this site helped make kirtsy). They are both fun sites! Designmom has tons of cool give-a-ways that you can enter for weekly. Kirtsy is an awesome site where people share any cool link they find online - tons of fun products, etc. I put a link down on the side of my blog under Fav's, so check it out and spread the word!

Food Storage

Cheryl Moake shared this GREAT site with me, and I absolutely LOVE it! I have always wondered how to get going on my food storage, and WHAT to do with all that wheat! This website is free to sign up for, and has amazing lists and how to videos - I have been glued! I had to put a plug in for it, cuz it is awesome!

Thanksgiving Gardens

I absolutely love the gardens in Spring! The tulips and hyacinth are so pretty! These gardens are amazing! Mom, Emily and I went with the kids and enjoyed a beautiful day!

Our 8th Anniversary!

Brent surprised me with a night away in Park City for our 8th Wedding Anniversary! First we went and enjoyed an hour long couples massage (THANKS SO MUCH, Brandon and Rachel!) and it was so wonderful! Then we drove up to the Park City Hotel, which was sooooo nice! We watched movies, went swimming, had a $94.00 dinner (I still can't beleive people pay so much for food!) and we had such a nice (and much - needed) weekend away! Of course we had to get our picture taken with the Elk and Moose!
This was the living room in our Suite. There was a nice fireplace and balcony, too!

This was the view from the back of the Hotel where the pool was.
Brent really enjoyed the Hot Tub!
Ok, we both enjoyed it! And the pool was so warm - 94 degrees! We went out Friday night at 9:30 p.m. to swim, and there was steam coming off the surface of the pool! We had so much fun just hanging out and looking at all the stars in the sky. What a fun weekend away! Way to go, Brent!

Time to Baby Proof!

Watch out everyone! Our little monkey is on the move!

Lydia has been scooting around a bit for the past couple months - going around in circles or backwards.

Today I sat Lydia down to play with her toys for a minute while I got on the computer (across the room).

I heard a noise behind me and looked to see her army crawling over to me!

So, of course I ran and got my camera to catch the moment!

I still am wondering why today of all times? What was the motivation?

Did it suddenly click in her mind that she could actually go where she wanted to?

I guess it will remain a mystery. And now I have to baby proof the house!

Maleah's 1st Birthday!

Yes, another cake! This one was for my friend Emily's daughter, Maleah.
Maleah really likes her book, "That's not my Princess", so Emily wanted a princess cake. I took the easy way out (I didn't want to do any more faces!) and did what my sister suggested - a barbie doll cake!
I am glad the dress was so fun to decorate!
Maleah thought she was a real doll - it was so cute when she just sat and held her hands! She finally ate some after a little coaxing!
Yum!

I just had to put this funny video of Lydia on! We were at Maleah's birthday party eating pizza, and Brent gave Lydia his crust to chew on. Then when he tried to take it away, this is what she did! Sooooo funny!

Rick's College Reunion!

Rick's College Dorm 2, Room 232!
Lindy (a.k.a "Tigger"), Mandy (a.k.a "Manders"),
Melissa (a.k.a "Melv") and Katherine (a.k.a "Kat" - or by the guys, "Special K")

It was so fun to get together with my roommates from Rick's College this weekend! We were roommates in the 98-99 school year, and had such a blast together! I think it says a lot that we all still keep in touch and are still friends!

We were so excited that Dave and Jeff came! Our true Rick's buddies! They were the source of lots of good times, good laughs, and great memories at Rick's, and we were happy to find that their humor hasn't changed much! Although, I didn't once hear anyone say "trout"...disappointing! :)

Lydia had lots of fun hanging out!
Katherine's Timothy, and Melissa's Nathan enjoyed it, too!
Katherine and Timothy came all the way to Utah at the perfect time for our Reunion! We are so glad they could come - it was so fun to see them both again!Melissa holding Hannah, and Mandy holding Corbin.
It sure was fun to see everyone chasing kids around!

Lydia was so excited to see everyone that mommy loves!
We all had lots of fun, and I am so glad everyone made it!
